Tractor Rules

1. 1959 and older. Example- if production of the tractor was in 1959 and still manufactured in 1962 its still legal.

2. Wheelie bars required (Or use clevis with shoe) – Materials used must be strong enough to support the weight of the tractor

3. Kill switches recommend for all tractors. RPM 20% over in all classes.

4. Hitches must be no less than 18 inches from center of axle to end of hook point. Must not be more than 20 inches in height. Hitch must be stationary in all directions, and hitch hole must allow hook point to flow freely.

5. Any tractor or puller found to be unsafe or illegal may be disquali-fied or barred from hooking. No alcoholic beverages will be per-mitted during the pull.

6. Weights must not extend rearward beyond rear tires and cannot be more than 11 feet from the center of the rear axle to furthest point forward. Weights also must be properly secured.

7. Tractors must be stock in appearance, including frames, transmission, rear end and axle housing or manufacturer’s replacement.

8. Tractors must be naturally aspirated.

9. Gas, diesel or LP fuels only. No alcohol or nitrous oxide fuels may-be used in tractors.

10. Carburetor must be the same number of barrels, throats and draft direction as originally manufactured

11. Drivers must be 16 years of age or older. Those under 18 years of age must have parental/guardian permission.

12. If class has 4 or less paid hooks, then first place is the only payout.
